Invitation link with uname doesn't work on mobile

I’m trying to add the user’s email to the invitation link (ex.: https://mycompany.zoom.us/j/123456789?uname=bob@acme.com).

On mobile (iOS 14 & 15), the Zoom app on mobile starts, then redirects to the mobile browser. Works fine on desktop.

Any idea how to work around this?

PS: Can’t use zoomus://… I need to send a meeting link, and don’t know ahead of time the user’s device (mobile or desktop), nor do I know if the app is already installed or not.

Are you using the Zoom applications or the Zoom SDK?

We’re using the Zoom application. We have no control over which device the user chooses (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS, Linux, etc), we don’t know if the app is already installed or not, and don’t want to send multiple links or instructions. It needs to be a “one-fits-all” meeting URL.
