iPAD - Browser (Chrome) - Host is not able to login

Host is not able to login in zoom on web browser. Giving HTTP 401 error.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Login in our application
  2. Start class
  3. Zoom page opens in browser
  4. Prompt to login


Device (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Chrome browser (Latest)
  • OS: iOS 14.7.1
  • Browser: Chrome

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. Are you able to share more information on how we can reproduce this issue? Are you sending the user to an OAuth authorization link or Is this coming from the Web SDK?


We are using Web SDK.


Please send an email to developersupport@zoom.us with a link to this thread. In that email, please include the authorization URL you’re using and steps to reproduce the issue.

If I’m not able to see the issue on my end we can set up a meeting to demonstrate the issue.
