Is my ReactJS Zoom In-Client App compatible with macOS Zoom Desktop Client?

  3. Purpose: Custom Zoom App integrated directly inside the Zoom client (not an external web app)

Description
I have developed a Zoom In-Client App using ReactJS and the Zoom Apps SDK (@zoom/appssdk).
The app works perfectly on Windows desktop Zoom client.

Before I publish or proceed with further testing, I want to confirm whether the same in-client app is compatible with macOS devices (MacBook / Mac Desktop) running the Zoom Desktop Client for Mac.

I am not referring to iPhone or iPad (iOS mobile)—my question is specifically about Mac computers running macOS.

Does the Zoom Apps SDK provide full compatibility and feature parity for React-based Zoom Apps on macOS Zoom Desktop Client?

When opens up the in-client app in meeting it showing in ‘Apps’ section but getting white/black blank screen.

Troubleshooting Routes

  1. Reviewed Zoom Apps SDK documentation.
  2. Checked for API feature tags like “product: desktop” and “iOS Client Version.”
  3. Verified app behavior on Windows (working fine).
  4. Searched for “Mac compatibility” in Zoom DevForum but didn’t find a clear answer specific to in-client ReactJS apps.

How To Reproduce

  1. Build a simple in-client Zoom App using ReactJS with @zoom/appssdk.
  2. Test app within Zoom Desktop Client on Windows (works fine).

Good news,

It now allowed me to see my app in macOS zoom client also.

I have made changes to add OWASP headers, and it get worked.
