Issue with Un-named Event Subscription / Validation

Hello,

i’ve searched for this in the forum, but didnt find a solution for myself.

So I created a webhook only app, following this guide: ZOOM: Video-Meeting Aufzeichnung in Kurs / Lektion laden und Weiterleitung | Memberspot Hilfe

It’s an integration for Memberspot to automatically upload my recordings from Zoom to Memberspot.
In general, it works and also the validation step for the notfication url which I got von Memberspot was validated when I created the App in the first place.

I do not use any server, I just want my recordings to be uploaded automatically.

Now received an email
“Un-named Event Subscription”
Event Subscription Disabled
“We have disabled your event subscription feature. See ‘What to do next’ for solutions”

I’ve tried to activate the app without the event subscription feature, since I dont use that at all, but I can’t.

I’d be happy to receive some help here!

Best regards

Hi @Rafaela
Thanks for reaching out to us.
I have not seen this issue before, could you please share with me more details about the email you received and about the next steps??

Спаибо за отзыв, но вот сейчас после того как на мое сообщение стали отвечать люди, веб хуки заработали) Спаибо.
Не знаю продолжат ли они работать после того как я сменю урл обработчика)

Hey Elisa,

thank you for your response.

I’m reaching out on behalf of Rafaela.
She forwarded me a screenshot of an error message she received via email, but somehow I’m not allowed to post links or images here

It says

"Hi

Your webhook endpoint is not responsive, please review this email for details.

App name

Un-named Event Subscription

Notification URL (our url that came from Memberspot which i used to activate the app)

Event Subscription Disabled
We have disabled your event subscription feature. See ‘What to do next’ for solutions’

"

According to her, the last recordings were still successfully uploaded to Memberspot, despite the email.
Could this message be related to the recording upload in any way, or can we safely ignore it since we’re not using the event subscription feature at all?

Best regards

Yes, @Rafaela
keep an eye on this please and let me know if you stop receiving the recordings.
But, if you click on What to do Next, what are the solutions given there? is this an official mail from zoom?

Thank you for the response.

It says, I quote:

"What to do next?

  • Review your app logs
  • Find the code or systems that cause the issues based on the documented webhook parameters
  • Revalidate endpoint URLs and submit your app for update request review
