In zoom phone settings you can add an app or url to launch for incoming calls. Unfortunately this does not apply to calls internal to the organization. It would be great if this could be enabled with a checkbox or had a separately configurable app/url.
The simplicity of setting up this feature on a per-machine basis is great. I am thinking about this in the context of our IT help desk whose machines are logged in with generic accounts and receive calls from both outside and inside the organization. I’d like to open an internal webpage on answering a call that will list users whose phone number or in this case internal extension match what is on file so they can create or reference a case more quickly.
I might be able to build out a similar solution using webhooks, but it would be much more complicated than launching a URL.
