Hello Zoom Marketplace Team,
I am submitting a request for manual domain verification for our app, currently under review.
The issue:
Our app is deployed on Vercel’s hosting platform, which assigns deployments to subdomains under vercel.app. While we have full control over our specific subdomain and can serve any files at that URL, we do not own the root domain vercel.app, as it is owned and operated by Vercel, Inc. As a result, we are unable to:
- Add a TXT record to the vercel.app DNS zone
- Upload a verification file to the root of vercel.app
- Add a meta tag to the root vercel.app homepage
All three standard verification methods require ownership of the root domain, which we do not have.
About the app:
Our App is a strictly internal Zoom Contact Center panel application used exclusively by employees and agents of My Insurance Broker. It is not publicly distributed, has no external users, and does not appear on the public Zoom App Marketplace. The app reads real-time customer data from Zoom engagement variables during live calls and displays it to agents in the panel sidebar. No data is stored, logged, or transmitted outside of Zoom’s platform.
What we can do:
We can verify ownership of our specific Vercel deployment by uploading any verification file or adding any meta tag to our deployed app. If this works as an alternative, please share the file or tag, and we will complete verification right away.
We appreciate your assistance in resolving this and are happy to provide any additional information needed to complete the review.
Thank you,
Arpit
