Hi,

Is there a way to expire the start_url of a meeting, without having to actually delete the meeting?

We’d like to have the meeting for later audits, but make sure that the meeting link is invalidated after a threshold of its duration, so that it becomes inaccessible.

Hey @shankar.devadoss, thanks for posting and using Zoom!

After a meeting has ended, you can still access reports of it via the dashboard and report endpoints.

@tommy : Thanks for the note on the reports. We’d like to expire the meeting link (start_url), so that it can’t be accessed to start the meeting again, after the meeting’s duration. We create meetings for each day, and would like to know if we can invalidate a meeting link the next day.

Hey @shankar.devadoss,

Shortly after the meeting ends, and after the end time of the scheduled meeting, the start_url will be invalidated and no longer work.

I see your reply. There are persons logging into meetings that past 5 days ago. So I am not sure that the meetings link actually expires shortly after

Hey @dmarson,

Make sure the meeting links are not personal meeting IDs. Also if you want, you can delete the meetings after they happen instead of waiting for them to expire.
