Metrics Meetings Participants type=pastOne participant

Description
We are attempting to use the https://api.zoom.us/v2/metrics/meetings/{meetingId}/participants?type=pastOne endpoint to retrieve the join/leave times of all participants to correct local data that is normally filled with the participant_joined/participant_left webhooks.

Error
When hitting the https://api.zoom.us/v2/metrics/meetings/{meetingId}/participants?type=pastOne endpoint, the resulting participant always contains the host’s id, and user_name. Even though join/leave webhooks indicate it was in fact the other registrant who joined/left, and the host never showed up.

How To Reproduce (If applicable)
1.) Create meeting with 1 registrant
2.) Have registrant attend meeting (NOT host)
3.) Meeting end
4.) Call endpoint.
5.) Observe resulting participant has host’s id, not the registrant’s id

I’ve had a conversation with zoom support using the chat feature and have been ensured this is the only place to get dev answers of this fasion and I should not be going through tickets.
