Please enable RTMS for App ID: General app 822 (Development)

Requesting RTMS (Realtime Media Streams) access to be enabled for my account/app.

  • App ID/Name: General app 822 (General App, currently in Development mode)
  • Account email: david@eventexperts.online
  • Use case: Building a custom live-translated-captioning replacement for our own Zoom meetings. Native live translated captions into German are unreliable (German captions failed to appear at all in testing; other languages showed quality/rendering issues). We plan to capture meeting audio via RTMS, run it through our own streaming ASR + translation pipeline, and push finalized captions back into the meeting via the third-party closed-captioning API.
  • Scopes needed: meeting:read:meeting_audio, meeting:read:meeting_transcript — currently greyed out/disabled on the Scopes tab, which I understand is because RTMS isn’t yet enabled on our account.
  • Scale: single account, own meetings only — no plans to distribute this app externally at this stage.

Could RTMS be enabled for this account so we can proceed with development/testing? Happy to provide any further account details needed.

Hi Chun,

Yes - I want to test out captioning app. I have one other account that I may need to also request this for - they have difficulty with captioning natively in zoom so trying to create an alternative solution for them.

@DavidBlin RTMS is enabled on your account and the scopes are correct, are you still having issues?
