Hello,
Our platform (Kwiga) embeds the Meeting SDK for Web so that course participants can
join their instructor’s webinar directly in the browser, as part of the learning page.
Participants are authenticated on our side, but they do not have Zoom accounts and are
not expected to create them — the join is anonymous from Zoom’s perspective.
Since the anonymous join restriction took effect, every participant receives:
JOIN_MEETING_FAILED — reason: anonymous join error, errorCode: 4012
The meetings are created through our OAuth integration on the instructor’s own Zoom
account, so the host is always a legitimate account holder; only the attendees
join
anonymously.
