Requesting Approval for "In-webinar chat message received" Webhook

Description We are developing a Marketplace app and need to enable the “In-webinar chat message received” event webhook to receive notifications when users send chat messages during a webinar. The documentation indicates that this feature requires approval from Zoom support.

Our main question is: What is the specific process for obtaining approval to enable this webhook for our Marketplace app?

Error? No specific error message, but we are seeking guidance on the approval process.

How To Reproduce

  1. We initially contacted Zoom support via the general support request form (Zoom 公式サポート | ヘルプセンター) to request approval for the “In-webinar chat message received” webhook.
  2. We received a response advising us to contact the developer team through the Zoom Developer Portal (https://developers.zoom.us/).
  3. We navigated to the support section of the Developer Portal (Support) and attempted to open a ticket.
  4. Clicking “Open a Ticket” redirected us back to the general support request form (Zoom 公式サポート | ヘルプセンター).
  5. We contacted Zoom support again, explaining this loop.
  6. We received a subsequent response recommending that we post our question here on the Developer Forum.

Authentication method or app type Marketplace App

Any errors No specific errors encountered, but we are unable to find the correct channel to request approval through the standard support ticket process.
