Requesting Manual Domain Verification for Netlify Subdomain

Hello Zoom Marketplace Team,

I am in the process of submitting my Zoom App “MeetSpark” for review. The portal is requesting verification for the root domain “netlify.app”.

However, our application is hosted as a subdomain on Netlify:

Since netlify.app is a shared public suffix, we do not own the root domain and cannot add TXT records or upload files to netlify.app.

Could a Marketplace specialist please assist us with completing the manual domain verification for our subdomain?

Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out regarding our Domain Validation process, the next steps will be sent to you via DM. Please refer to our domain validation resource: Domain Validation Explanation for any further questions you may have about the process.

Thank you.

Hello Nigel,

Thank you for the quick response.

Since our app is hosted as a subdomain on Netlify.

We do not control the root “netlify.app” domain, but we have full deployment access to this subdomain. We can easily upload a verification file (HTML/TXT) to our site root, add a <meta> validation tag to our homepage, or provide screenshots of our Netlify dashboard proving ownership.

Please send over the required verification details (such as the specific file name/contents or the meta tag values) so we can apply them and complete the manual subdomain validation.

Thank you!

I sent you the next steps in a DM
