Rest API to mute my microphone?

Hi all,

I’m working on a personal project where I’m trying to make a button I have connected via bluetooth to my laptop mute my mic on a zoom call. I’m finding that the hardware will need a desktop client to interact with Zoom and I’ve written a python script to test it and am looking for an API I can use to programmatically mute my own mic.

So far, I’ve been able to get my user id and the meeting while I’m in the meeting room but haven’t been able to mute my mic.

Thanks for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum and welcome to our community!
Unfortunately, we do not have an endpoint that you can call to mute participants while in a meeting.
