I share MP4 videos during Zoom meetings. The Zoom Screen Share Video Player displays the videos in a slightly “stretched” aspect ratio from the original source. For example, I have a clip from a 1944 movie that’s in the old 4:3 aspect ratio. Offline, this MP4 file plays perfectly in Windows Media Player on the computer and displays the correct aspect ratio. However, during a Zoom meeting, when I Screen Share/Advanced/Video, and select the MP4 file, the clip’s aspect ratio is incorrect, slightly stretched horizontally. Is there a way to fix this? If not, I suggest that the Video Player in Screen Share have an option to “Play Fixed Aspect Ratio of Original Source”. Thank you.
