Swift Package Manager SDK Out of Date

I don’t know why this continues to be a problem for Zoom. How is this not part of your release process? Time after time, you have people posting on the forums and taking time out of your days.

The Zoom Video SDK was updated on June 18, and here we are on July 3, and the Swift Package Manager branches are out of date. Please update, and make it part of your process to keep it up to date when new versions are release.

Seems like a developer relations issue that @TimZoom might be able to help with?

I’m on it, @richardpiazza!

Thanks for the push Tim, but here we are again. Over two weeks since the last SDK release (2.3.0, July 18th) and the Swift Package repository has yet to be updated. Why is this such a problem for Zoom to add to their release process?

Hey @richardpiazza
Thanks for your patience here. I was able to talk to our Engineering team and this will be fixed today. I will keep an eye on it and inform you when its done

Hi @richardpiazza
This has been updated.

Thank you for the update.

Only time will tell if Zoom manages to keep the Swift Package releases updated - day and date - when the VideoSDK is versioned.

Thanks, @richardpiazza.
I’ll follow up with the Engineering team to guarantee the updates happen on time.
