Switch off "intent to publish"

Hi.

We have an OAuth application we’re preparing to make generally available to our users.

The Zoom app config was originally set to “intent to publish” but in fact we do not want it listed in the Zoom market place, rather we just want our users to be able to optionally enable it if they’d like.

The app itself is in a state where we’re trying to roll it out to users but we don’t seem to have an option to change the “Intent to Publish” flag.

Where can this be done?

Hey @darren,

Unfortunately you can’t revert “Intent to publish” to no. However, you don’t need to set it to no. Your app will still work with your Zoom users.

If you wanted to have “Intent to publish” be “no” then you could simple create a new OAuth App choosing the “Intent to Publish” “no” option.

Thanks,
Tommy

I’m really just concerned about the time it’ll take to get it into 3rd party customers hands. How long does the approvals process take?

Creating a new app would be a bit of a pain since all of the keys are already deployed and distributed through our keystore and in use.

Hey @darren,

Apologies, I am confused.

Are you trying to publish your app to the marketplace? What do you mean “time it’ll take to get it into 3rd party customers hands.” If you don’t want to publish your app, 3rd party customers can’t use it.

Thanks,
Tommy
