Unable to Validate the Domain

In case you have difficulty in completing the domain validation steps, please feel free to email us proof of this domain ownership at marketplace-support@zoom.us

Download verifyzoom.html containing a verification code
Create a folder zoomverify under root and make it viewable
Upload the file to your domain and put it in the folder zoomverify
Confirm your upload by visiting your domain
Make sure all webhook and call back URLs that you have entered in the marketplace belong to the same domain

Can you explain exactly what the validation is doing? what it’s looking for? How it is querying for this file? The support email (marketplace-support as well as developersupport) are both inactive and I get a non deliverable response.

So far I’ve created a fileserver that can be queried at our base domain /prefix /zoom/verifyzoom.html
That failed when I realized that I can only input the base domain and not the full url.

So then I added a fileserver into nginx so that it could be delivered in the exact path the documentation asked for. https://my-domain.com/zoomverify/verifyzoom.html

I’m not sure what else to try. More information around the way the validation request is made would give me more insight about what I need to build to receive it

@qhenkart,

Thank you for posting. We can actually help you manually validate your domain. In order to do so, please submit a request to our support team here:https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/requests/new

try to validate by configuring nginx to correctly get /zoomverify/verifyzoom.html, but it was impossible

Hi @donte.zoom,

I have similar issue to validate domain. I created a ticket to support team as you mentioned. After filling in all the fields and submitting I got an automate reply:

Thank you for contacting our Developer Support team! We have moved to the Zoom Developer Forum. To ensure your inquiry is addressed, please navigate to our Developer Forum for assistance at https://devforum.zoom.us/

@amunje and @hfoc11 ,

I’m sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Feel free to let us know if you still need help validating your domain. Or this matter was already resolved in the support ticket.
