When hosting a large meeting in which there are periods of full interaction followed by a speaker, it’s hard to mute everyone except the next speaker. If you’re not quick enough, the speaker gets muted and you miss the first few seconds of his speech, which is really frustrating.
Describe the solution you’d like
I’d like to make the speaker a co-host ahead of time and then mute all except hosts and co-hosts.
Describe alternatives you’ve considered
Mute all except a specific person. That doesn’t work too well when another co-host is acting as Master of Ceremonies as I want to keep that person unmuted too so they can introduce the next speaker.
