We are encountering an urgent issue with the Zoom API, specifically error 429, and would appreciate your immediate assistance in investigating it further. Below are the details of our findings:

  • During our investigation, error 429 occurred when the same email was sent to Zoom for registration more than three times for the same event. However, based on our code, this scenario is not possible.
  • We could reproduce the issue only by directly hitting the API via Postman, but it should not happen through our application.
  • One exception we encountered involves the email address [h*@c**.com] for the event with the Zoom Webinar ID **. This email faced the issue even on the first registration attempt.

We are not seeing this issue anymore. However, last Wednesday (10/16/24), we saw this error 3,500 times. We need to determine if this relates to Zoom API or webinar configuration. Thanks again for your help.
