Hello Zoom Developers, here are the updates for the Web Meeting SDK version 2.5.0 release :slight_smile:

Client View

Added

  • Support for testing mics and speakers
  • Parameter in init to enable and configure an intermediary page for users clicking external hyperlinks
  • Event listener for “Sharing has Started” events
  • Functional and UI support for new Live Transcription feature
  • Notifications that recommend upgrading Web SDK version if below the recommend version
  • Support for preventing device going to sleep when in-meeting

Enhanced

  • 720p video subscription logic
  • Number of Gallery View participants from 9 to 25 (3x3 to 5x5)
  • “Settings” panel UI and functionality

Fixed

  • Issue where an “unrecognized speaker” entry was shown in the speaker selection list if microphone permissions were not enabled
  • Issue where the “Phone Call” panel did not show the participant ID and cut off the passcode in webinars

Component View

Added

  • Archiving privacy notices
  • Event listener for “Meeting has Ended” events

Enhanced

  • Upgraded package dependency versions
