Webinar Closed Caption & Poll in webclient sdk

Hi,
I’m using the WebClient SDK (version 1.7.4) on my website.
is it possible to watch (as a participant, NOT AS A HOST) a closed caption in the WebClient?
Also, is it possible to answer a poll on the WebClient?

In this page: https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/sdk/native-sdks/web#browser-support
I can see that those options (CC & Poll) are available on the WebClient SDK, but I wasn’t able to use those features in the web app (I’ve used the sample app)

Been trying to do that for some time now, i can never get polling to show up on a web client, it just doesn’t work.

Hi @anton.skvortsov @sharon,

Right now our Web Client or SDK does not support Polling. We do have it within our roadmap to include it in a future release - https://trello.com/b/bzKad84M/zoom-developer-roadmap

Thanks

OK,
What about Closed Caption?
Is it supported in the Web Client SDK?

Any update on Polling support in Web SDK? @michael_p.zoom @tommy

Hey @EmreErdogan,

No update yet. Stay updated here: https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/changelog

Thanks,
Tommy

We just started working with a new client and their IT Security department has authorized Zoom. Previously it was only Go2Webinar. Zoom is a better experience.
We just found out yesterday that they can not install Zoom Desktop and therefor, polling is out of the question. Now we are looking for yet another platform for them to use.

Hey @craigreilly,

Sorry to hear that. Polling is a feature we are adding in the near future. Stay updated here:

Thanks,
Tommy

Hey @tommy

I understand Closed captions are supposed in the Web SDK. However, I wasn’t able to make it work on the web client. It does work on the desktop client.

Is there anything in particular required to do to enable it besides enabling the feature in the account settings?

Hey @imouaddine ,

Just make sure you have the prerequisites here:

If this is related to the Web Client and not Web Meeting SDK, please reach out to support.zoom.us.

Thanks,
Tommy
