When I tried to configure Zoom app in Salesforce I get error message

I have installed the Zoom app into our Salesforce org. I have created and API Key and Secret in Zoom marketplace. Each time I try to configure the app in Salesforce using the API Key and API Secret I receive an error message.


Empty key
Error is in expression ‘{!init}’ in page zoom_app:zoomdetail: (System Code)

An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (System)

Which App Type (OAuth / Chatbot / JWT / Webhook)?
NOTE: I created this JWT app in the Zoom marketplace months ago and used it, then deleted the app from our Salesforce. I did regenerate a new secret today before using

To clarify, are you leveraging either of the Zoom/Salesforce Apps present on our Marketplace, or are you using some other Salesforce/Zoom plugin?


Hi i am encountering the same issue in our sandbox using the existing Zoom/Salesforce app from the Zoom App Marketplace.

I have switched to the Zoom admin, but am unclear why I’m getting this error since after installing the app in our SF sandbox, I haven’t had a chance to login using Zoom.

The only authentication was through the API Key & Secret - does the “Email” in the JWT App need to match with the Zoom admin email address in order to work?

Yes, the Zoom Admin should match/belong to the same account as the JWT credentials being used. Can you confirm that’s the case?
