This Chime feature is LOVED by my people and will be SORELY missed now that we have switched to Zoom.
When we schedule a meeting in Outlook using the Chime plug-in, it basically does two things:
- Inserts the contact information (same as the Zoom plug-in)
- Adds email@example.com to the invite list (this is the key to this feature)
Then when it is time for the meeting, everyone invited to the meeting gets this nice little pop-up on their screen (PC, tablet, phone, wherever they have the Chime app installed) with a simple click to join the meeting, or decline or indicate to everyone in the meeting room that you are running late.
