Zoom 5.2.0 not working on older macOS systems

Hi. [I am learning to code Python on Jupyter Notebooks for Library of Congress APIs, btw]
Zoom 5.2.0 installed but is not opening on my Apple iMac 24-Inch “Core 2 Duo” 2.8 (Early 2008) running OSX 10.11.6 All other versions have worked perfectly. Someone else said “Getting an error that indicates it’s trying to load a library that doesn’t exist. I’ve submitted a ticket. Just waiting to find out if they’re going to drop pre-10.14 support or not.” [https://www.reddit.com/r/Zoom/comments/i3m838/zoom_520_released_for_windows_and_mac/]
I fortunately saved an installer for 5.0.4 which works but I think that after August 16th some Zoom rooms will be unavailable.
Is Zoom 5.2.0 supposed to work for OSX 10.11? It would seem that it should.

Looks like August 5, 2020 version 5.2.0 (42634.0805)
may clear this up.
