There is to my knowledge, as well as the web, no feature within zoom which allows a participant to normalize the volume received from all attendees. I have seen earlier remarks on how to control the volume of individuals, but this is just cumbersome. Or even asking people to put on “automatically adjust recording volume”. These features don’t resolve the issue in a busy company as we need to meet with new people and perform a round table to check mic settings each time or even request this from participants.
Instead there should be 1 option that allows every user to receive the volume of all participants and normalize it to a specific volume setting. Many other meeting applications do have this. It has been a standard in voice recording for years. I have full confidence that ZOOM developers can adopt this and this is litterally at the core of what ZOOM is all about.
Make ZOOM great again.

This feature is really needed. HP Poly (Polycom at the time) had this issue solved 10+ years ago with their RMX and Realpresence servers as well as their old endpoints. You could go to the individual user who was either too loud or too soft, click on them and then Adjust the Listening Volume.
All that would be needed is to add to Zoom Room tablet interface (or for Desktop users) is to go to the Participant tab, tap on the particular participant and add an Adjust Volume button from the sub menu that you could tap on and then it would bring up a volume slider you could adjust that users volume up or down.
And it wouldn’t affect the actual participant who’s volume might need adjusting, just volume gain for the Room or Desktop client adjusting the experience for themself by adjusting the participants gain.
Too many times there is one user coming in too hot, and instead of having to keep adjusting the volume up and down during the call every time they start speaking or stop, you could just adjust the one participants gain level for yourself and not have to worry about constantly having to juggle the audio.
