getting the same thing…

This is a global issue with anyone using the web client.

The same is here in Germany. Please report back if the issue is solved.

Same error here. Looks to be really widespread. Will be monitoring when it comes back up.

Web client is in “maintenance mode” according to status page.

Does Maintenance mode means it’s off for prolonged period of time?

my classmates are not suffering from this issue. im missing my classes

Hey @khushikagdiyal, @pavol.slido, @keathr, @elearningevolve, @paul.rosenthal, @jparaske, @kapaa

We are working to get the Zoom Web Client and Zoom Web SDK back online. Please keep up with our status page for detailed updates: status.zoom.us

The best workaround is to use the Zoom Desktop / Mobile app.

Just include the Zoom meeting join url (https://zoom.us/j/meetingID) on your site rather than showing the websdk / iframe. Clicking on the join url will open the Zoom meeting in the Zoom app.

Apologies for the inconvenience,
Tommy

Thankyou for the reply,

Maintenance of Zoom’s Web Client

  • Zoom will be placing the Web Client into maintenance mode and take this part of the service offline. This will also impact users utilizing Zoom’s Web SDK. This will have no impact on users utilizing Zoom’s desktop or mobile application.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

OMG, this will impact so many users who were depending on the Zoom web client completely. :worried:
Any ETA for the resolution of this problem please?

Hey @elearningevolve,

Sorry for the inconvenience, please see the note from the Manager of Developer Relations at Zoom.

The web client is back online again. Thanks for the good work. This is an essential feature, especially for users which can’t install propriatary software.

It is only back if you are okay with forcing all users to log in via username/password, and the Web SDK is still broken in that you can no longer have users join that you are signing with your API key.
