I occasionally have use cases where I need to copy a group or a role, to enable small groups of users to test new admin functionality, or interact and perform pilot testing on new tools that Zoom release before making it available to the rest of the account.
At the moment, there’s no way natively within the UI, or within a single API call to perform this action, and either have to setup a new group manually and copy all the settings over individually, or use API calls to copy settings, modify the values of the output, and then PATCH the new group/role with those settings.
Describe the solution you’d like
A way to copy groups/roles with a single API call would be brilliant - if we can call that, it creates a copy with a name either “xxxx group - COPY” or gives the option for input of the new name.
