After Zoom RTMS Connection, the user has to manually toggle on the auto start at meet option in settings and Pentesting for production

I have 2 issues which I need answers for:

1.For Production users, we will need to ask our users to manually enable our app in the the auto start option in their settings. Is there a way to automatically add our app into their user setting, so when they authenticate with us and zoom, the app will auto start.

2. For the verification for production use requires pentesting, is there any way to skip this part or should we apply for pentesting.

Hi Gautham,

There is currently not a way for you to automatically add your app to your user’s auto-start settings. The user needs to explicitly enable this by following the instructions here in Zoom’s RTMS quickstart guide.

For the pentesting portion, you should demonstrate as much evidence as possible to show that your app is secure and has been tested effectively. I know for apps using the Meeting SDK in the past, it was not a blocker if you didn’t have a pentest completed. This might be different for RTMS apps, we’ll likely need Zoom staff to chime in here to confirm this.
