Api Pricing and app management

I’m creating an app that will provide 1:1 meetings between an instructor and a student, but I’m finding conflicting information regarding these 2 matters and would like some clarification.

  1. Pricing
  • The meeting requirements are 1 hour session, so this requires pro account level, which the app’s account will be, will the instructors need to be upgraded to pro as well?
  • Since the API call is coming from a pro account, the instructors could use their free account and still benefit from the pro level features?
  1. Management level
  • Opting for admin-managed would mean that the whole organization and the users linked to this account would benefit from the pro level features, but this would mean the account will be charged based on the number of instructors in the organization.
  • Opting for user-managed would’t increase the Zoom subscription price, but would the users only have access to their own account features
  • What would be the management type that allows the user to benefit from the app account pro features, without having to be added as part of the organization?
