Assistance Required with Host Username Display Issue During Zoom Meetings

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to report and seek assistance with an irregularity we have encountered regarding the display of host usernames during Zoom meetings.

To provide some context, our process involves the automatic creation of Zoom user accounts through the action: custCreate parameter, as we are participants in the Zoom ISV program. During the account creation phase, we ensure to include the first_name parameter for each user. Upon reviewing the admin panel at Sign In | Zoom, it is evident that the users’ first names are correctly listed and there appear to be no issues at this stage.

Subsequently, we proceed to programmatically schedule meetings for these users. It is standard practice for our meeting hosts to join sessions using the provided start_url. However, we have observed that occasionally, instead of displaying the user’s name, the host’s email address appears in its place during the meeting. This is despite the fact that the username is correctly associated with the user’s account.

We are keen to resolve this anomaly as it is impacting our operational procedures. Could you kindly provide us with guidance on troubleshooting this issue? Your prompt attention and support would be greatly appreciated as we strive to ensure a seamless experience for all our meeting participants.
