Audio not working for last participant using zoom web sdk

Description
I am trying to join the zoom call using the web sdk. The microphone does not work for the last participant in the call. When someone else joins, the audio starts working for the previous but does not work for the new participant.

Error
I see no error

  3. Scroll down to ‘…’
  4. See error

That is strange! Are there any errors in the browser console?

Are you sure the latest participant isn’t muted? A screenshot of the latest participants screen would be helpful to debug this.

@tommy thanks for following up. This is affecting us a lot.

I posted it in another issue. The issue was introduced in 1.7.7.

It appears that 1.7.6 is working fine though in 1.7.6 we are observing some issues for users joining from Asia. We have reverted back to SDK 1.7.6 for now.

1.7.7 - we do not have such issues but the last audience member is muted. Tested on Chrome, Edge, Brave
1.7.8 - we do not have this issue but echo cancellation is really bad. In fact with screen share on its almost impossible to use. Tested on Firefox, Edge, Chrome, Brave
