Best way to retrieve microphone & video state?

Hi,

I am looking to create a project that displays physical status lights for microphone/video state (think “LIVE” studio lights when mic/camera is on) - is it possible to retrieve my microphone and video state by API, or SDK?

Will most likely be running Zoom on Mac, if this makes any difference. I tried to look at API docs but couldn’t find anything.

Hi @maker113,

We don’t currently have an endpoint for explicitly retrieving this status information. The closest endpoint we have would be our Dashboard: GET Meeting Participant QoS API, which details audio/video performance:
