We are beating our heads with a common educational issue. Run Zoom and have students do an exercise on a Web App. Our WebApp is designed so that a supervisor can see how everyone is doing the exercise, but we have no easy way to send the students to do it. We do work around this by posting a link in Zoom chat and students click on the link which opens in their default web browser. That works for students comfortable switching between screens, on mobile devices is really bad for many.
So my suggestion: add a build-in Web Browser to Zoom apps.
- The teacher sends ‘Open this URL’ command to all participants.
- The user doesn’t have to do anything, the URL is loaded for them in the built-in browser
- The teacher sends “Close browser” participants
