Can I be informed of changes to the Zoom API in advance?
How many months ago can I find out?

Are API changes only additions and improvements?
Are there any API changes that require modification of the current API caller?
Is it possible for backward incompatible changes to occur?

How to know the change of Zoom API are located in other than the following ways?
・Refer to changelog
・Check out the New Release on Zoom Developer Forum

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi @rikof,

The main way to stay up to date on releases and updates is via our Changelog.

However, for more major changes or upcoming change announcements, you can provide a Developer Contact in our Marketplace for any apps you have configured (JWT, OAuth, etc.) — there is a Developer Contact field within the app. This will provide us with an email to send Developer Announcements to.

You can also share your email with us here to receive the latest on upcoming enhancements and news for our developer community:

Thanks!

Thank you for your answer.
I understood how to get information by registering email address.

Could you please tell me the following question as well?

Are API changes only additions and improvements?
Are there any API changes that require modification of the current API caller?
Is there a possibility that the backward-incompatible changes occur?

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi @rikof,

Happy to further assist.

Are API changes only additions and improvements?

API changes could include bug fixes, enhancements, new features. If there will be a breaking change, this will be communicated ahead of time via the channels mentioned above.

Are there any API changes that require modification of the current API caller?

If there will be changes that require updates from your end, this will be communicated.

Is there a possibility that the backward-incompatible changes occur?

We strive to make sure these don’t occur. These should be communicated well ahead of time, if planned.

Thanks!
Will

Thank you for your kind reply.

I hope that there will be no changes that affect the API-using application.

Glad I could help
