Hi,
When I share join link as “Error - Zoom” from other apps like skype, telegram…When users using phones like Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi… open the link from those shared apps, it will open the join link with the device’s default browser but can’t open the native Zoom app, click on it. “Launch Meeting” also has no effect.

Are you getting the link from the Zoom desktop client? For example, can you share the version?

Does this happen all of the time ?

I am facing a similar issue. A user-specific Zoom link gets generated in our App which takes the user to the Zoom App via a button click. This is the happy case and working as expected for most of the users. However, for some, the link doesn’t open the Zoom App and neither the browser.
- I tried sharing the Zoom link on WhatsApp but the user was unable to open the Zoom App
- I asked the user to copy the link from WhatsApp and paste it in the Chrome browser, this worked as expected
- The link is a webinar link but generated for specific users. It has query params
- The generic webinar link opened from WhatsApp as expected
So, the issue seems to be with the link with query params.

User Zoom App version
Any help or direction to look into will be greatly appreciated.
@harshchaudhary1123 , Does this issue only occur with links clicked within WhatsApp? Also, which devices have you observed this on? It’s possible that either WhatsApp or the device itself might be causing the issue with opening the Zoom App as expected via the link.
