Connect to Zoom via Zapier - Direct calls and MCP server cannot connect

Attempting to connect to Zoom via Zapier. Both the direct Zap and the Zapier MCP server cannot connect to Zoom.

Description
When attempting to connect to connect to Zoom via a Zapier Zap I receive the following error: "Error code: Error while retrieving: The app returned “Meeting does not exist: VB+lu4KiR0a42X9DT/9xLA==.”

When connecting via Zapier MCP server I receive the following error: “undefined”

When connecting via Zapier MCP server I receive the following error: “undefined”

How To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
For direct ZAP:
Create Zap
Authenticate to Zoom
Test connection
Attempt to call data.
Error

For MCP server connection:
Build MCP link to Zoom
Add all “tools” for Zoom
Test any tool
Feed in a valid meeting ID
Errors out with “undefined”

Have you reached out to the Zapier support team about this issue?
I can see that the meeting exists, but I’ll need more information to help you troubleshoot.
Do you know which endpoint your integration is calling with this ID?

Hello,

I did contact Zapier. They worked on it for a few weeks, then gave up and told me that the issue was on Zoom’s side.

I have no idea what endpoint they are using. Sorry. How can I find out for you?

I did set up an MCP server with Zapier. It works for transcripts and other Zoom-related items, but it will not work for accessing the summary that Zoom creates at the end of the meeting.

Can we set up a Zoom meeting so I can show you the issue?
