My teachers and I would like to be able for the host to be able to control features for breakout rooms on school accounts. We’d like to have the ability to disable chat in breakout rooms because this may avoid problems with students chatting inappropriate things when there’s no adult supervision.

I know this is an old post but this would be a very desirable feature for us as well. We’d like to control the chat feature specifically in each breakout room. Just toggle chat on and off for that specific room. Should there be inappropriate chatting, we’d like to just disable and then hide the chat to prevent the chat from getting “out of hand…”

I’d like to revive this topic and add some additional feature enhancement requests for the breakout rooms:
- “Control gallery view order” for all participants
- Ability to spotlight and multi-spotlight
