custCreate fails with code: 2016

I created a new Server-to-Server OAuth App and used the keys to create OAuth token, used that to call zoom API. All API calls I tried works fine except for user create with action custCreate. It fails with the following error code:

{"code":2016,"message":"No permission, please contact Zoom customer support."}

My Zoom ISV contact says the account is setup as an ISV account and send me instructions for setting up JWT and Zoom SDK. I want to use API - SDK may not be the right thing for me. How to debug it further? I am wasting days. Looks like Zoom is not interested in any business at all. Look like this company is on the way down. I will wait couple more days and look at alternatives…

Sorry to hear you are facing issues with this endpoint, however, please do contact support to confirm that the proper permissions have been given to you as this is an account error.

Additionally I want to clarify that Meeting SDK uses JWT for authorization, however, to call the API, you would use an OAuth access token using your client secret and id. I’ve linked the exact guidance for you there :slight_smile:

I believe you’re already doing this successfully, since you were able to call the endpoint so it seems like there is just an account config issue.
