We would like to launch the attendees into the meeting and have their name that is in the system be used in the meeting.

At this time there is not a good way to set the display name with API, please see this forum post I’ve linked below for more information:

Hey @gundamaiah.a5, Thank you for providing additional information. While there is not currently an API that will allow you to update the Display Name of a user, you can enable registration which will allow users to set their Display Name based on the information they provide when they register.
