Does startRTMS() require the meeting host to have a paid (Pro/Licensed) Zoom plan?

We have an In-Meeting Zoom App that uses RTMS (startRTMS via Zoom Apps SDK). The app works perfectly for Licensed/Pro meeting hosts, but fails with “App could not reach meeting content” error for Basic/Free account hosts when they click to start RTMS. Does startRTMS() require the meeting host to have a paid Zoom plan? We have RTMS enabled on our developer account.

Question: Is there a minimum Zoom plan requirement for the meeting host in order for startRTMS() to succeed? If so, is this documented anywhere?

Hi @AhmetA, this is currently a requirement. The user does not need to be paid, but startRTMS() requires an account to be verified for the end user to start media access in a meeting.

We’re working on a timeline short-term for this to be support to be available, I’ll follow up!
