Grant Participant Camera Controls Without Requesting It

Description
We are utilizing the Windows Meeting SDK and currently have a workflow where when a host requests camera controls from the user using our application, we automatically grant those controls.

We are looking to change the workflow to automatically grant camera controls to the host of the call without them having to request it. Is this possible?

Which Windows Meeting SDK version?
We are using 5.10.3

Welcome @JMark !

Thank you for posting in the Zoom Developer Forum. It is my understanding a user is required to consent to allow camera control to the host. This is to align with Zoom’s security and privacy policies.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

@JMark,

I wanted to ask whether my response answered your question. If not, I am happy to clarify or offer other suggestions. If you are looking for something other than Zoom Meeting and Webinar experience, the Video SDK may be a great fit for your use case. That is, if you do not need to schedule Zoom meetings or act as a Zoom user in any capacity, the Video SDK could be a valuable path forward. With the Video SDK, you can build custom video experiences with Zoom’s core technology to achieve the workflow described. Here is the link to our Windows VSDK along with the Zoom Video SDK sessions cloud recording options for your reference:
