We develop a device that support HID, but we see that with zoom only the Mute/Volume events are sent by the zoom but answer/disconnect are not sent.
Do you have a standard doc that explain the correct way to define the device descriptors so zoom will support these HID events
Thanks for using Zoom SDK. Are you referring to the HID here:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/hid/? What is the SDK version are you having issues with? Could you provide more info on this so that we could further investigate?
On the following page: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360026690212-USB-HID-Supported-Audio-Devices-for-the-Zoom-Desktop-Client#h_d5c0ddc7-5417-4c27-b5ae-6327d93b4a24
I see this note: “'Zoom Phone does not support answer/disconnect buttons on supported headsets. Only mute and volume buttons are supported.”
So I think that zoom detects my device as a phone - can you tell me how the zoom application detect via HID if its a phone or normal audio device.
Thanks for the reply. It seems like your question is related to Zoom client and Zoom Phone, I would like to help but I do not have visibilities for the questions related to these 2 products. Please contact our support at https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362003 and one of the Zoom experts would be happy to help you.
