Headset physical mute button click is disabling audio in Zoom Web SDK

The user of our Zoom Web SDK integration is experiencing the following problem while using wired headset: physical ‘Mute’ button, which is a part of headset, is disabling (unjoining) audio connection in meeting room at all.
p.s.: The same action works as expected (i.e. just mute outcoming audio) in Zoom desktop application and MS Teams application for the same user.

Please assist in debugging on client side or provide recommendations.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Join meeting with Zoom Web SDK (Component view) with wired headset
  2. Connect audio and make sure you are audible and can hear other participants
  3. Click on headset’s physical ‘Mute’ button
  4. Audio is not joined
