High Internet consumption

Our application Angular JS based application is integrated with Zoom Web SDK for web access.

The participants complain about high internet consumption when joining the meeting through our application compared to attending through zoom app. If the users are using limited data package per day then this high consumption of internet is becoming an issue. Please advice if internet consumption will be lower in any browser and any setup could be done.

For the most part, the recommended bandwidth requirements for the web sdk will fall in line with what we recommend for the Zoom Client:

System requirements for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Because Zoom handles optimization of video capabilities on our end, the browser should not directly affect the consumption/bandwidth of the Web SDK.

For those users who are experiencing high internet consumption, have they tested their internet speeds to ensure they’re meeting our required minimum bandwidth requirements?
