How can I check whether a participant join in a meeting?

Hi Staff,

Do you have any way whether a participant join in a meeting on real time?
My Zoom app is a kind of closed caption app, when a participant launches the app, if the meeting is started, the app show the closed caption automatically.

If the meeting host user can be known whether a meeting is started or not.
However, I can’t find out the suitable API for a participant.

Do you have any idea?
