We still noticed this issue Duplicate participants on reconnection of duplicate participant in the session when their connection gets lost.
It was one of the most reported issue by our users and its still not fixed.
Is there any way to avoid this issue from happening as users don’t know that those duplicate participants will disappear after few minutes and end up complaining us about the issue.

Thanks for your feedback here. Changing the reconnection logic would be a long term consideration as even our Zoom Client App/s use the same logic.
If there is anything we can do to help you better detect a disconnection so you can remove or hide the user while they are in the “ghost” state, please let us know.
