How to control the behavior of the Zoom client when using Zoom Phone Smart Embed?

Is there any way to keep the Zoom client from popping up during incoming or outgoing calls?

We are developing an application using Zoom Phone Smart Embed.
The Zoom client pops up during incoming and outgoing calls.
The Embed UI and the Zoom client then behave the same way.
This can be confusing to users.

How can I prevent the Zoom client from popping up?

How To Reproduce
Making a call:

  1. make a call in the Smart Embed UI.
  2. My Zoom client modal will pop up.

Receive a call:

  1. call my Zoom Phone number.
  2. the Smart Embed UI will display the incoming call.
    At the same time, my Zoom client modal will pop up.

They behave like this.

Hi - Thanks for your feedback. Currently the workarounds to prevent the Zoom client pop up would be to stack the Zoom client on the side of your app or to move your Zoom client to another monitor.

Any movement on this? We are experiencing the same issue. As a company that has 95% inbound calls this makes the day to day experience of our support agents frustrating. The workaround to stack the Zoom client on the side doesn’t help since there is still a popup in the middle of the screen.
