How to generate “join” URL given ID and password? (part 2)

@david3 I had to create a new thread since the original one was closed. I went to that thread seeking the same answer.

This would definitely be cumbersome to automate, but you could do it with some browser automation or scraping.

  1. Launch Zoom (I tried this with the app but I think it should work with the web version)
  2. Go to “join meeting” and manually enter the ID and password
  3. Join the meeting (presumably before it starts if you want to generate the links in advance)
  4. Once you’re in the meeting, use “copy meeting link” and you’ll have the URL with the meeting ID and password
