  1. With the Zoom App, confirm that ā€œAuto-Openā€ is disabled for Read AI.

  2. You can adjust when Read AI joins your meetings at app.read.ai/analytics/settings/user/assistant (disable auto-join if enabled)

  3. If you’d like to delete your account, you can do so at app.read.ai/analytics/settings/user/other

In most cases, you can login using Zoom SSO.

This would work if the user(s) in question had an account with ReadAI. There is no options to be had in step 2 or 3 of what you suggested because according to Zoom’s settings, readAI isn’t even installed as an app.

  1. With Read AI users, they have the option of sharing reports with meeting participants. If your user received a shared report, access might be limited to meeting participants, which would require an account to be created on read.ai to validate permissions. In this instance, they would have created an account on read.ai and not Zoom to access the meeting report.

During the onboarding process, if they did a ā€œspeed runā€ in terms of setup, they may not have changed their default settings. The prior solution of #2 and #3 would apply, and they could login to change join preferences or delete their account.

I said in the first sentence that the user(s) don’t have an account with ReadAI, as I believe this is where the true problem lies.

I suspect the issue is #4. Read does not join meetings unless (i) account is created, (ii) user has given calendar permissions to know what meetings are upcoming, and (iii) user has given Zoom permissions to join the meeting.

If your user can email support@read.ai, they can assist in troubleshooting.

I am having the same problem. I have met with our IT support staff, and they can’t figure out why it keeps showing up in my waiting room every time I hold a Zoom meeting. We have deleted it from the apps in Zoom and done everything else recommended in this thread, but it still shows up.

If you still have a Read account, you can check the calendar section and make sure that Read is turned off for all of your meetings

@elisa.zoom I have another account not this one, but I am not authorized to post a comment here with that account. I have the issue of read.ai on that account and the app is not on Zoom Marketplace. Can you help me?

Could you please help me disable the Read AI Tool for my account?

It was integrated into my account after a Zoom meeting with my client, and unfortunately, I haven’t managed to disable it on my own despite any actions.

Hello Elisa, I am having the same issue. I do not have the read.ai app and have disabled all ai functionality on my zoom account. But the read.ai keep appearing in meetings. How can I create a support ticket, or do you have to create one? Thanks.

I am having this same issue, Read.AI is not listed as an installed app and I’ve tried to disable AI generally to no avail. I have to have this stop popping up for meetings.

Hello - I am having the same issue at completely frustrated. I don’t want to have to delete zoom but I need the recording and AI notes disabled ASAP please so I can continue scheduling calls. Thank you!

Can you please do the same for me? My app isn’t even showing on the marketplace page under the installed apps section but it’s certainly there during meetings. I need this removed ASAP
