I cannot create a new app this morning (2026-04-09)

Description
Yesterday I could create a new app on marketplace.zoom.us. This morning, I cannot. When I go to the menu, under Build I see this text:

We recommend building apps on desktop, as we are still implementing the mobile experience.

I am not accessing this site from a tablet or phone. I am on a MacBook Pro laptop with an Apple M4 Max CPU using Chrome Version 147.0.7727.56 (Official Build) (arm64). I suppose technically a laptop is a mobile device, but I was able to create an app using the same laptop yesterday.

How To Reproduce

  1. Log into marketplace.zoom.us
  2. Click the menu icon in the upper right hand corner.
  3. Observe that the Build menu is grayed out.

Thank you for raising this issue. Could you please share a screenshot of the error message you see on the marketplace page?

I tried to, both as a PNG and a JPEG, but after uploading the screenshot and pressing Reply, I got an error popup with this message: An error occurred: Sorry, you can’t embed media items in a post.

I was able to upload it as an attachment to my support ticket, TS2292461,

The problem seems to be confined to Google Chrome. When I logged into the Zoom Marketplace on another browser (Safari) I was able to create an app.
